Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation seeks a Dentist to provide full-time mobile general dentistry across the greater St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN area and surrounding facilities. You will perform routine exams, restorative care, and emergency services with the support of a clinical team and EMR.

Expect a flexible schedule (4–5 days/week) with on-site facilities, mileage reimbursement, and 100% malpractice coverage. Daily travel to nursing homes and long-term care sites is required.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Current state license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine dentistry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities.
• Perform examinations and routine dental procedures including extractions and fillings.
• Travel daily to patient care sites within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

The Dentist will provide general dentistry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Provides routine, preventative examinations
• Conducts examinations for oral cancer screenings
• Performs routine extractions and fillings
• Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Provides emergency services
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Dental background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of dental care.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.
• Self starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.

Physical Requirements For Dentists

• Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift.
• Ability to transport mobile dental equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
• May be occasional required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Education & Qualifications

• Current State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Travel

This is a mobile Dentist position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your Practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
