Details:

• Position: Dentist; very flexible; one day/week or twice/month. Patients are preparing for re-entry; dentist conducts routine visits and addresses urgent cases once/week.
• Hours: Weekday hours; no weekends or holidays.
• Location: Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center.
• Compensation: Employee W-2 or 1099 – you decide. Guaranteed hourly rate, medical malpractice paid, no production pressure.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the dentist manages dental activities and provides oral health care such as fillings, extractions, dentures, root canals, etc.

Licensing and Certification:

• Current Illinois State Dental license
• Current DEA certificate
• Current CPR certification

Education: DDS or DMD degree

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum one year practicing dentistry
• Skilled in recognizing symptoms of shock and fainting; prepared to provide necessary aid during procedures

Estimated rate range: $95.00/hour to $115.00/hour
