Description:
DSI is searching for an Orthodontist for independent orthodontic review of medical necessity for procedures and therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a brief synopsis of the clinical case.
• Provide their determination regarding whether to uphold/overturn/modify the denial.
• Provide a clinical rationale in support of their determination, and supply a minimum of two references from peer reviewed literature, national guidelines, etc., in support of their determination.

Requirements:

• Reviewer completes and returns the Physician/Clinical Expert Reviewer Application Packet which includes collecting background information on the potential reviewer.
• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio with the license unencumbered.
• Must have a minimum of five years of experience in your specialty.
• Must be board certified in the specialty you practice.
