Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a Dentist to work in western Michigan on a part-time or full-time basis (2–4 days per week) in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. A base rate of $1,000 per day is available, with mileage reimbursement and on-site support.

The role offers clinical autonomy, an established patient base, and full administrative support, including a dedicated regulatory and compliance team. Travel to multiple facilities is required.

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree (professional licensure required).
• State professional license to practice dentistry.
• Valid driver’s license for mobility between facilities.
• Proficient in assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.
• Able to work with an assistant or independently as needed.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR and healthcare software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry services to residents in nursing homes and long‑term care facilities.
• Perform routine exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions and denture work.
• Administer restorative care including crowns and bridges and x‑rays.
• Enter patient information and document in our EMR system.
• Travel daily between facilities as part of the mobile model.

HealthDrive is currently seeking a Dentist, to work Part-time or Full-time (2-4 days per week) in western Michigan (work available in greater Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, MI and the surrounding areas).

Responsibilities

The Dentist will provide general dentistry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Provides routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings


• Performs routine extractions and fillings


• Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs


• Performs restorative dental services including crowns and bridges


• Provides cleanings and x-rays


• Provides emergency services


• Dentists are expected to maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day


• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.


• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Dentistry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.


• Ability to work collaboratively with an assistant or independently if necessary.
