Job summary

Academy Kids Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, educate caregivers and patients on preventive practices, and supervise staff assisting in treatment. You will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

This position offers a pay range of $700-$1000 per day, with relocation and signing bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• State dental license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques.
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers of the services provided.
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health.
• Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community.
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
