Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Aurora, CO is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instruct staff on how to assist in patient treatment, and educate caregivers and patients on preventive practices.

This is a part-time position for Mondays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays. PRN opportunities are also available. Pay range: $700-$1000 per day. Experience with Medicaid preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and respond promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and perform necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients on treatment options and preventive practices.
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform referrers about the services provided.
• Help kids and caregivers develop excellent habits in oral health.
• Promote the company and attract new patients within the community.
• Participate in team activities and communications (morning huddle, provider meetings, events).
• Participate in other duties supporting high-quality care for underserved children.

• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers of the services provided
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health
• Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
