Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Auburn, NY is seeking a General Dentist to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) team. The role offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 per year and a Monday–Friday schedule with 3–4 ten-hour shifts weekly.

The dentist will diagnose and treat patients of all ages, provide preventative care, and maintain EMR records in a mission-driven environment focused on community health and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with advancements and best practices in dentistry.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat oral and dental conditions for patients of all ages.
• Provide preventative dental services and patient education.
• Perform comprehensive dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
• Deliver pediatric dental care, including extractions, restorations, stainless steel crowns, and pulpotomy/pulpectomy procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and ongoing dental health.
• Manage dental emergencies such as acute hemorrhage, anaphylaxis, respiratory or cardiac arrest, and seizures.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential EMR in accordance with standards.
• Refer patients to dental or medical specialists as appropriate and consult on complex cases.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.
• Attend staff development trainings and continue education requirements.
