CHC is seeking a Dentist to join the team at CHC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct outpatient and inpatient dental services to CHC patients.
• Work as part of a healthcare team, coordinating care and documentation for ongoing care and risk management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Completion of a U.S. ADA-accredited Dental Program.
• Completion of a one-year Residency Program or three years of General Practice experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of dental materials, storage, handling, and application.
• Ability to handle basic dental and medical emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and creatively to solve problems, with initiative and team collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of dental software systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel to other CHC sites as needed.

Licensure and Certification:

• License to practice Dentistry in Vermont.
• Board eligible or Board Certified in an ADA-approved specialty.
• Admitting privileges in a local hospital/medical center (if applicable).
• Maintain licensure and certification.
