Job description

The Registered Nurse 1 position offers comprehensive patient care across all ages, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal outcomes.

1. Conduct age-specific admissions and ongoing assessments, developing and updating personalized care plans.
2. Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to create and revise interdisciplinary care plans.
3. Administer and document treatments and medications accurately using electronic medical records.
4. Identify and address patient and caregiver educational needs, integrating them into the care plan.
5. Act as a patient advocate, safeguarding rights and providing psychological, social, and cultural support.

Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR and other relevant certifications, proficiency with electronic medical records, and successful completion of orientation and competencies.
