Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth, gums, and related oral structures.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Doctoral Degree in Dental Medicine/Surgery
• Active license to practice dentistry in Rhode Island
• Patient-tactful communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Preferred: Candidates not meeting all preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Job Functions

• Clinical:
  • Extraction of diseased teeth
  • Patient education in oral hygiene
  • Design and fabrication of dentures
  • Filling cavities
  • Supervision of dental hygienists and assistants

Physical Effort & Environment

This role is onsite, involving standing, tooth extraction, and the use of dental instruments and equipment, requiring finger and hand manipulation.

Work Schedule

Standard hours: 40 per week, with occasional overtime possible.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
