Job summary

Elica Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center delivering comprehensive dental and medical services in California. The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating dentistry, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication within our modern clinics and mobile programs.

The role supports educating patients on treatment options and financing while ensuring smooth operations and timely appointments in a busy dental office environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more dental setting experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• EPIC Wisdom and/or dental scheduler experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal and other dental payers.
• Knowledge of dental terminology.
• Ability to educate parents and patients on treatment and payments.
• Ability to present treatment plans and collect payments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily targets.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and verify insurance.
• Prepare treatment plans for future dental care.
• Address patient concerns and questions.
• Answer phone calls, greet patients, and maintain office appearance.
