Job summary

Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a Treatment Coordinator in Austin to educate patients on oral health and financing options, guiding them through their visit and treatment plans.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, process paperwork, and schedule appointments, including new and recall visits, while supporting back-office tasks. A strong emphasis on a 5-star patient experience and excellent communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Active RDA certification highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Dental office experience highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of patient care or customer service experience required.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work clinic hours, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Execute a 5-star patient experience by educating patients and presenting financing options.
• Address patient questions or concerns with respectful, timely responses.
• Prepare Smile Road Maps, pull insurance, and gather necessary information.
• Initiate patient paperwork for treatment, including employment and insurance documents.
• Assist patients with payment questions and in-office payments.
• Support Patient Concierge with recalls, insurance verification, and scheduling.
• Maintain lobby/front office cleanliness and orderliness.
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote services.
