Dental Implants GPS in the United States is seeking a Dental/Surgical Assistant to support prosthodontists and surgeons in clinical operations, prosthetics, surgery, and digital scanning to deliver state-of-the-art implant care to patients.
You will assist during procedures, sterilize instruments, take and process digital impressions and X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide clear pre/post operative instructions. Travel between offices may be required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Monday - Thursday 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
The Dental/Surgical Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting our prosthodontists and surgeons on clinical operations, prosthetics, surgery, and digital scanning to provide state-of-the-art dental implant solutions to our patients.
Assist the dentist during a variety of surgical and restorative procedures.
Sterilize dental instruments, prepare equipment, and treatment rooms for each patient following OHSA and infection control guidelines.
Take and process accurate impressions/digital impressions, and digital X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Welcome patients, inquire about medical history, document treatment, and maintain up-to-date patient records (e.g, treatment charts, medical histories, consent forms).
Deliver pre/post operative care instructions and follow-up care with clarity and compassion.
Stay updated with industry best practices, infection control protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent; Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
Proficient in all back-office dental duties including four-handed dentistry, taking and processing digital X-rays, infection control, disinfection, and sterilization procedures.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
Familiarity with dental software and appointment scheduling systems (Open Dental experience is a plus).
Ability to travel between offices as needed.
Bilingual (English/Spanish a plus)
Direct oral surgery assisting experience in a surgeon-led practice.
Experience in administering general anesthesia and/or oral conscious sedation, with a strong understanding of sedation protocols and patient monitoring.
Understanding of All-on-4 and implant treatment.
