Job summary

Timber-Kids-Dentistry is seeking a dental sterilization technician to support a high-standard patient experience. You will decontaminate and sterilize instruments, assemble sets, and manage sterile supplies while maintaining aseptic technique in a busy pediatric dental environment.

You will contribute to a positive patient flow, collaborate with doctors and staff, and support routine maintenance and sanitation across the clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a dental sterilization technician (preferred).
• Physically able to transport supplies and equipment.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and clean all equipment and instruments to ensure sterility.
• Assemble instrument sets based on established sheets.
• Prepare and package instruments, differentiating steam vs. gas sterilization needs.
• Store, deliver, and manage sterile supplies using aseptic technique.
• Evaluate equipment function and report issues for repair or maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize clinical areas between patients and restock treatment rooms.
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists.
