Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a reliable Dental Sterilization Technician to support our clinical team by ensuring all operatories, instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care.

This full-time role (4 days a week, 9–10 hours daily) focuses on operating autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, maintaining sterilization logs, stocking supplies, turning over rooms, and ensuring compliance with infection control and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.)
• Maintain proper inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary
• Ensure all operatories are properly stocked and equipped for procedures
• Support clinical team by turning over rooms and preparing them for patient care
• Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment
• Organize and store sterilized instruments in designated areas
• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of sterilization equipment
• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation

The salary for this role starts at $20 per hour.
