Job summary

The Rural Health Care Inc dba Aza Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to clean, disinfect and sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients. Work hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am–7:00 pm, and the selected candidate will report to the Center Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification or agreement to obtain by 90-day period.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing dental instruments according to procedures.
• Following manufacturers' instructions for maintaining sterilization equipment properly.
• Recording and documenting maintenance and sterilization processes and notes.
• Transporting dirty dental instruments to the sterilization area.
• Tracking and ordering sterilization supplies.
• Adhering to infection control protocols.
• Wearing personal protective equipment when required.
• Performing other routine office functions when required.
