Job summary

Clove Dental is seeking a Sterilization Technician I in Oxnard, CA to ensure proper sterilization and infection-control protocols. The role includes instrument disinfection, packaging, inventory management, and maintaining clean, organized sterilization zones across the office.

Responsibilities cover HIPAA/OSHA compliance, room turnover between patients, and supporting clinical staff with basic setup and logistics. This is a frontline position focused on patient safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and properly store dental instruments according to Company infection-control protocols.
• Maintain sterilization areas, equipment, logs, and required testing in accordance with OSHA and infection-control standards.
• Stock operatories, sterilization areas, and clinical supplies and notify the appropriate team member when inventory is running low.
• Sterilize instruments and make sure cassettes are organized
• Make sure lab cases in office
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, attendance, dress, name-badge, and other Company standards.
• Operatories stay organized and clean; Check In / Check Out areas are clean; Floors, Lights, Doors maintained throughout the office
• Turn over treatment rooms quickly and thoroughly between patients, including disinfecting surfaces and preparing rooms for the next procedure.
• Transport instruments, materials, and supplies between operatories and sterilization while maintaining proper separation of clean and contaminated items.
• Maintain clean and organized clinical, sterilization, laboratory, and supply areas throughout the day.
