Job summary

Clove Dental in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Sterilization Technician I to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of our sterilization areas. You will clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and properly store dental instruments according to infection-control protocols, ensuring instruments are safe for patient care.

This role supports our clinical team by stocking operatories and supplies, organizing lab cassettes, and ensuring records and logs meet OSHA and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and properly store dental instruments according to Company infection-control protocols.
• Maintain sterilization areas, equipment, logs, and required testing in accordance with OSHA and infection-control standards.
• Stock operatories, sterilization areas, and clinical supplies and notify the appropriate team member when inventory is running low.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure cassettes are organized.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, attendance, dress, name-badge, and other Company standards.
• Turn over treatment rooms quickly and thoroughly between patients, including disinfecting surfaces and preparing rooms for the next procedure.
• Transport instruments, materials, and supplies between operatories and sterilization while maintaining proper separation of clean and contaminated items.
• Maintain clean and organized clinical, sterilization, laboratory, and supply areas throughout the day.
