Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. in Carrboro, NC, seeks a Sterilization Tech to support the Dental Department and maintain a sterile environment. You will assist with patient care workflows, sterilization of instruments, and autoclave maintenance, contributing to safe, efficient dental procedures.

This full-time role Monday–Friday, 7:45 am–5:00 pm, offers benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, paid holidays, and CME opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Immunizations up-to-date and medically cleared for communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Open and close of Dental Center.
• Clean dental chair, dental unit, sinks, countertops and floors.
• Maintain inventory supply.
• Flush and clean dental units daily.
• Clean, lubricate, sterilize handpieces and instruments after procedures.
• Maintain and clean autoclave per manufacturer instructions.
• Change cold sterilization according to schedule.
