Job summary

Valley-Family-Health-Care seeks a Dental Sterilization Technician to manage sterilization, equipment care, and inventory of dental instruments. This role supports dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists in delivering essential primary dental care at the center.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; 1–2 years of customer service experience, especially in a dental office, is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• BLS certification in Basic Life Support.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; experience in a dental office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and center policies, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Assist patients by answering questions and guiding them as authorized by the dentist or hygienist.
• Perform delegated procedures as directed by the Dental Director in line with state regulations and departmental directives.
• Maintain dental department equipment per manufacturer directions and department policy.
• Keep all dental areas compliant with infection control and safety policies; act as a resource to ensure tasks are completed as required.
• Maintain operatory supplies and compile shortages for inventory and ordering purposes.
• Handle appropriate clinical and administrative duties and engage in health promotion activities as required.
• Undertake other related tasks as directed to meet organizational goals.
