Job summary

Pacific Endodontics in Monterey, CA is seeking an experienced dental assistant for a full-time, on-the-job training role.

You will support the dentist with procedures, take and develop X-rays, and ensure sterilization and infection control. The workload is lighter with 4-6 patients per doctor, offering independence and a cohesive, patient-centered team environment.

Monterey/Salinas area location, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including paid time off and signing bonuses are provided.

Qualifications

• RDA/CDA certification required and licensed in California.
• 1+ year of dental assistant experience.
• X-ray/Radiography, CPR/BLS, Local Anesthesia and nitrous oxide certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in BEAUTIFUL Monterey, CA and Salinas, CA.

We focus on having a cohesive patient centered team.

This job offers independence and autonomy.

Because this is a dental specialist, the patient loads are significantly less than a general dentist.

Each doctor sees between 4-6 patients a day, which means minimal breakdown and setups and overall less stress on YOU the assistant.

Pay

• $22 - $26 per hour

Competitive salary based on experience. Compensation reviewed annually to stay competitive.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Work hours Monday to Friday 9-5. Lunch break as well.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Driver’s license, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice
• CPR Certification BLS Certification X-ray / Radiography Certification Local Anesthesia Certification Nitrous Oxide Certification Dental Assistant License Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) Certified Preventive Functions Dental Assistant (CPFDA) Certified Restorative Functions Dental Assistant (CRFDA) Infection Control License Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Driver's license
