We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. New Grads are welcome! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires knowledge and experience in various dental procedures and excellent patient care skills.

Pay

$29 - $37 per hour
$28.79 - $37.00 per hour

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Current certification in dental assisting preferred
Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation systems
Experience with dentrix is a plus
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferences

License & Certification: Infection Control License

Skills

Skillful and competent in four handed dentistry,
certificate of 8 hour sterilization required,
efficient in taking proper FMX and recall sets,
certificate of coronal polishing will be a plus,

Job Description

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Perform efricient and proper 4-handed dentistry,
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using electronic systems such as Eaglesoft
Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Assist with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
Practice aseptic technique to ensure infection control

This is a part-time position with competitive pay. Proficient candidates could also have a chance to get hired full time.
