Dental Sales (District Sales Manager)

Location:

Field based / Remote Position (Kansas City, Wichita, Omaha, Springfield, and surrounding territory)

Join Our Team!

You will be responsible for planning and executing all sales activities within assigned accounts or territories. Your role involves promoting our complete line of Planmeca Imaging products through effective interaction with dental health professionals and organizations to increase awareness and usage. As the District Sales Manager, you will aim to maximize sales profitability, growth, and account penetration, and personally contact and secure new business accounts and customers.

Essential Duties:
  • Generate sales of diagnostic imaging, core equipment, and CAD/CAM in assigned accounts/territory
  • Prospect for new customers and business, grow and maintain existing customer portfolio, and qualify new leads to support a healthy sales pipeline
  • Attend tradeshows and participate in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs
  • Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings and peer-to-peer events, including site selection and agenda preparation
  • Assist Dealer Representatives in preparing sales quotes, customer meetings, and demonstrating product capabilities
  • Negotiate sales and close deals, interfacing with all key influencers
  • Develop and maintain high product knowledge of Planmeca and competitors
  • Build relationships, develop business strategies, and maximize opportunities within your territory
  • Represent Planmeca as the primary customer contact in your accounts/territory
  • Provide feedback to management, product teams, and marketing
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through quality interactions
  • Lead as a product specialist in your territory
  • Coordinate support teams to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and operating mechanisms
  • Participate in company initiatives as directed
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and company policies
  • Forecast orders and sales using sales funnel tools and reports
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with company standards and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in healthcare or dental industry preferred
  • Valid motor vehicle license required

Physical Requirements:

This position is remote and involves travel for field projects, meetings, conferences, trainings, and events. Overnight, weekend, and international travel may be required. The work environment is a professional dental office setting, with some time in the HQ office.
