Qualifications

• Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the practice of dentistry and related professions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical cases and apply the laws and regulations for probable cause determination.
• Advanced computer literacy skills with the demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications.
• Demonstrated keyboarding skills to accomplish tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Effective organization and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and present case findings.
• Knowledge and demonstrated ability to educate and/or instruct others in a formal teaching environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team to process cases at the probable cause level.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary reviewer for the Board of Dentistry, assessing probable cause and directing cases toward a proper resolution pathway.
• Reviews case information, applies laws/regulations, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure due process.
• Supports the disciplinary process and education efforts as part of the Health Professions Monitoring and related programs.
