Job summary

Main Street Orthodontics of Kendal in Miami, FL is seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our clinical team. You will provide high-level patient care, manage front-desk duties, handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with treatment plans through financial arrangements while supporting staff and Office Manager.

Successful candidates will have experience in dental/medical offices, know insurance basics, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or health-care office preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
