Job summary

Konza Prairie Community Health Center Inc. is seeking a Dental Patient Access Representative to maintain smooth patient flow, schedule appointments, register patients, and verify insurance at our clinics in MHK and JC.

This full-time role requires customer service experience, basic office skills, and willingness to travel between clinics; we offer a friendly team, PTO, retirement contributions, and a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Professional office and/or customer service experience required.
• Basic office skills such as typing and filing required.
• Ability to travel between MHK and JC clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar.
• Register patients and collect necessary information at check-in.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Coordinate with dental team to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to visitors and patients.

Requirements

1. High school graduate or equivalent
2. Professional office and/or customer service experience
3. Basic office skills such as typing and filing
4. Ability to travel between MHK and JC clinics, as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bi-lingual
2. Dental treatment scheduling experience
3. EHR software experience
4. Experience professionally discussing financial status and arrangements with patients
5. Dental insurance processing and pre-authorization experience
