Dental Receptionist| 3–5 Days/Week | Growth Opportunity | Multi-Specialty Practice
Join our five-star, patient-centered dental team! Our respected, privately owned multi-specialty dental practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Receptionist Coordinator. This role offers flexible scheduling and a clear path for professional growth. Schedule: Part Time or Full Time, 3–5 days per week
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of dental front office experience
- Background in scheduling, treatment coordination, and insurance billing
- Knowledge of Dentrix software strongly preferred
- Excellent multitasking and communication abilities
- Professional, detail-oriented, and patient-focused demeanor
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and daily patient flow
- Coordinate specialist referrals and follow-up appointments
- Answer and direct incoming calls, including new patient inquiries and emergency scheduling
- Monitor and follow up on unscheduled, ASAP, and pending treatment lists
- Welcome and check patients in and out with professionalism and care
- Present treatment plans and explain financial options to patients
- Submit insurance claims, post payments, and accurately estimate treatment costs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 2+ years of dental office experience required
- Strong proficiency in dental software (Dentrix preferred)
- Familiarity with CDT codes and dental insurance plans
- Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Dependable, proactive, and a strong team player
