Dental Public Health Dentist Job with Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA

Join to apply for the Dental Public Health Dentist role at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for an experienced clinician to provide care to the pediatric community, including school children and YMCA facilities. The mobile unit will travel from Lehigh Valley to Minersville, Jim Thorpe, or Lehighton.

Responsibilities:

• Providing preventive and restorative dental care on the new Miles for Smiles mobile unit arriving in June/July 2024.
• Collaborating with the mobile staff team and dental medicine staff, including 55 dentists, 21 clinical staff, and 8 residents.
• Working with a team comprising a hygienist, mobile driver/registration specialist, and dental assistant.
• Working approximately 21 hours per week, with flexible days during the week.
• Screening exams for pediatric patients at local schools and YMCA facilities.

Qualifications:

• Completion of residency training in dentistry.
• Open to new graduates or those with at least 3 years of private practice experience.
• Procedures required: preventive, restorative, and oral surgery.
• Passion for working with children is preferred.
