Working closely with colleagues and quality control specialists, you will build models from impressions, apply porcelain layering, and polish for natural appearance.

Qualifikationen

• Basic dental training.
• Prior dental experience or background, a plus.
• Previous experience with hand and finger dexterity, a plus.

Aufgaben

• Fabricates and repairs dental prostheses and appliances such as dentures, crowns and bridges, veneers and implant restorations.
• Reads prescriptions and constructs prostheses by following doctors’ orders.
• Maintains communication with colleagues and managers in a prompt, articulate manner.
• Uses a wide range of materials including metal and non-metal materials to create replacement appliances.
• Molds models from impressions and builds wax replicas on models.
• Executes wax replacement, porcelain layering and ceramic restorations.
• Polishes, finishes and stains restorations for natural appearance.
• Utilizes and conserves supplies through plaster casting, metal casting, die trimming, wax modeling, CAD/CAM, and related techniques.
• Operates hand tools and equipment such as drills, presses, lathes, furnaces, sandblasters, and carvers.
• Documents actions by completing forms and reports and collaborates with quality control teams.
• Follows quality standard protocols and reports any issues needing prep work.
• Prepares equipment and materials and relies on technical knowledge to meet departmental goals.
• Performs other related duties as required by management.
