Job summary

Christ Community Health Services Augusta seeks a Dental Practice Manager to lead the dental department’s administrative and operational functions. You’ll partner with the Dental Director to ensure reliable daily operations, patient access, and provider support.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, financial stewardship, quality, and compliance across the program. You will drive continuous improvement and champion mission-aligned care for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, or related field, required.
• Minimum of five years in dental or ambulatory healthcare operations with at least two years supervisory experience.
• Experience leading front-office, dental assistants, and clinical support staff in multi-provider settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day dental operations, including clinic readiness and patient flow.
• Build schedules with providers to support access, productivity, and coverage.
• Monitor appointment utilization, no-shows, and bottlenecks; implement corrective actions.
• Standardize front-office, sterilization, and patient communication workflows.
• Supervise non-provider staff; manage recruitment, onboarding and performance.
