Job summary

Maco Bag in the United States, New York, seeks a Dental Packer to separate dental pouches from belts, count, stack, and package according to customer specs. You read work orders, inspect pouches for quality, and support Machine Operators to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus; prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging and product scrap/defect issues is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Separate dental pouches from belts and package per customer specs.
• Read and interpret work orders and machine diagrams.
• Inspect pouches for tolerances and cosmetic defects.
• Maintain accurate counts and label packages per quotas.
• Assist Machine Operators with supplies, setup, changeover, and production tasks.
• Clean and perform limited equipment maintenance.
• Complete production records and logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
