Job summary

Familia Dental is seeking a Pre-Billing Specialist with dental insurance experience to join its corporate support team in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on creating and maintaining insurance plans in the PMS and assigning fee schedules to ensure accurate patient estimates, clean claim submission, and proper reimbursement across clinics.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in dental or healthcare insurance, experience with plan setup, and proficiency with insurance portals.

Qualifications

• Two years of dental or healthcare insurance experience.
• Experience creating or maintaining insurance plans in PMS.
• Knowledge of fee schedules and in/out-of-network applications.
• Proficiency with carrier portals for plan, eligibility and benefits.
• HIPAA knowledge and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create new insurance plans and employer profiles in the PMS.
• Assign appropriate fee schedules based on payor and contract terms.
• Modify plans to reflect coverage changes and updates.
• Verify plans with carrier verifications for accuracy.
• Support clinics with correct plan attachments to patient accounts.
• Resolve plan/setup errors in a timely manner.
