Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with patient inquiries, and help patients arrange financing for their treatment plans in a friendly, team-based environment.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ($23–$25) and a full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–2pm, with health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k),

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or health-care office preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival and departure.
• Respond to patient questions according to policies.
• Answer telephones and manage inquiries.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; maintain appointment book.
• Assist with posting charges and payments to patient accounts.
• Maintain a clean, friendly waiting area.
