Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Dental Patient Care Coordinator to manage the Delta Wellness Program and UDS measures. You will lead the DWP with the Dental Clinic Manager, develop program goals, and provide staff training on PreViser and related tools.

You will facilitate daily huddles, monitor patient data, and coordinate with finance for billing and authorizations while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Strong communication and insurance billing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with dental reception, assistant or hygienist roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental software.
• Experience with insurance billing and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dental Clinic Manager with DWP program goals and objectives.
• Develop DWP measures, criteria and ongoing feedback with the dental team.
• Facilitate daily morning huddle to review patient census and ensure DWP compliance.
• Complete online dental risk assessments for patients using PreViser.
• Develop and conduct staff and patient training on PreViser and related tools.
• Coordinate with CCHC communications and report submissions.
• Provide patient education on chronic disease and dental-health links.
• Advocate for patients and liaise with the dental practice to optimize care.
• Collaborate with finance for billing copays and proper coding.
• Facilitate referrals beyond the clinic’s scope of practice.
• Monitor databases, generate reports, and track DWP and UDS measures.
• Attend department and agency meetings; participate in Performance Improvement.
• Orient new staff to the DWP program and maintain infection control compliance.
• Plan public relations activities such as health fairs.
• Handle prior authorizations for DWP, Medicaid and private insurances.
