Qualifications

• Current Dental Assisting License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry.
• Current DANB Certification.
• Completion of required annual continuing dental education units.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current Hepatitis Vaccination as recommended by the CDC.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical chairside dental assisting as scheduled and supports the needs of both department and practice.
• Coordinates patient flow to ensure smooth daily functioning.
• Ensures patient care in a clean, timely, and quality-focused environment.
• Oversees operatory, sterilization and laboratory areas.
• Ensures OSHA/HIPAA compliance with CDA program coordinators.
• Coordinates laboratory processes including study model inventory.
• Assists with dental supply inventory and maintains lab jackets inventory.
• Maintains the Dental Assistant Manual.
