Job summary

Charm Dental Care is growing and seeking an experienced Dental Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for a leader who has managed dental teams, understands the business side of dentistry, and can coach people while upholding high patient-care standards.

Qualifications

• Dental management experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience managing a dental office or multiple departments preferred.
• Proficiency with Open Dental, Dental Intelligence and Modento is highly preferred.
• Strong treatment presentation and patient-financing experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, develop and hold team accountable while maintaining patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach dental team to improve patient experience and office efficiency.
• Manage schedules, maximize provider productivity and drive KPIs.
• Read and interpret dental accounts, EOBS and financial metrics.
• Present treatment plans and guide case acceptance.
• Use data to identify gaps and create action plans for improvement.
• Maintain professional, data-driven leadership and handle difficult situations.

This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for someone who has successfully managed dental teams, understands the business side of dentistry, and knows how to coach people while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has strong experience with:

• Dental management and team leadership
• Open Dental – strong proficiency preferred
• Treatment plan presentation and case acceptance
• Dental Intelligence – understanding KPIs, analytics, scheduling, production and performance reports
• Modento – patient communication, confirmations and workflow management
• Patient financing and payment plans – CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry and Proceed
• Must know how to read dental accounts, EOBS
• Managing schedules and maximizing provider productivity
• Understanding production, collections, AR and operational KPIs
• Training, coaching and holding team members accountable
• Identifying performance gaps and creating action plansImproving patient experience and office efficiency
• Handling difficult patient and team situations professionally

Requirements

Dental management experience is REQUIRED.

Candidates should have experience managing a dental office, multiple departments, or a dental team and should be comfortable being accountable for both people and performance.

Experience with Open Dental, Dental Intelligence and Modento is highly preferred.

Strong treatment presentation and patient-financing experience is also preferred.
