Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Dental Supervisor to oversee dental back-office operations, including patient flow, sterilization, inventory, and charting. The role also mentors and trains new staff to ensure efficient, quality care.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, maintaining safety practices, and supporting continuous improvement in the dental clinic within the AltaMed network.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience in a dental office setting required.
• Active Registered Dental Assistant certification along with sealant certification required.
• Current Valid BLS Certification.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Job Overview

The Dental Supervisor is responsible for oversight and coordination of staff functions related to dental back office including but not limited to, patient flow, sterilization, inventory and supply ordering, chart documentation, quality and safety practices as they relate to dental back-office staff. This position is also responsible for ensuring efficiency of back office dental operations and for mentoring, coaching, and training new dental back-office staff.

Minimum Requirements

• High school Diploma required.

Compensation

$71,057.09 - $85,268.50 annually
