Qualifications

• B.S. in polymer, composites, chemistry, or materials science with 2+ years of research experience.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in related field.
• Experience with material science concepts and polymeric/photo-cured systems.
• Experience with laboratory techniques and data documentation.
• Experience in dental industry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test hypotheses to achieve product performance.
• Understand structure-property-processing relationships in materials.
• Prepare and characterize materials using standard lab equipment.
• Own projects and address stakeholder needs.
• Contribute new knowledge to the R&D department.
• Communicate results effectively (PowerPoint, reports).
• Conduct biological lab techniques and use advanced instruments for sample analysis.
• Contribute to development of new biotechnological products or improvements.
