Job summary

Kerr Dental is seeking a Research Associate I to support compliance with current marketed dental consumables and ensure quality and safety standards. The role focuses on performing lab experiments, documenting results, and contributing to the development of products.

Under supervision, you will plan activities, maintain records, and collaborate with R&D personnel to evaluate data and technologies. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in this fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field required.
  • Or Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field plus a minimum of 2 years of industrial laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, conducts experiments using appropriate equipment and protocols with good laboratory practices.
  • Plans a schedule of research activities with senior R&D personnel to meet project timetables.
  • Contributes to design of experiments.
  • Identifies deficiencies and suggests solutions of limited scope.
  • Records experimental data and observations; performs calculations as required.
  • Maintains accurate records of work and prepares summaries of results.
  • Develops knowledge of the company’s existing products.
  • Assesses results, competitor products, and new technologies; participates in discussion.
