Job summary

Union Community Care is seeking a skilled EFDA to support dentists in delivering quality dental care. You will assist with four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, review patient histories, and ensure operatory sterility and infection control.

The role requires EFDA accreditation, current radiology and CPR certifications, and English proficiency. You will participate in mandatory trainings and contribute to a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• EFDA accreditation and valid license to practice.
• Current radiology certification and CPR certification.
• License recertification every two years; radiology recertified every four years.
• Child abuse clearance re-check every two years.
• English proficiency required and knowledge of dental/medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares patient to be treated by the dentist.
• Assists dentist in four-handed dentistry.
• Takes radiographs (x-rays) for dentists.
• Reviews health and dental histories with patients.
• Maintains sterile operatory and dental equipment.
