Dental Lab Manager Opportunity in Jersey City, NJ

About the Opportunity

We are a start-up dental lab located in Jersey City, NJ, set to open mid-April. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Dental Lab Manager to lead our operations. This high-tech lab will specialize in both fixed and removable dental prosthetics, including complex All-on-X cases. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape and scale a state-of-the-art dental lab from the ground up, with plans to grow nationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process, including fixed, removable, and All-on-X cases.
• Perform hands-on bench work during the initial 6-9 months, transitioning into a management role as the team expands.
• Utilize advanced technology such as 3Shape, Exocad, and modern printing and milling processes while maintaining a strong understanding of analog techniques.
• Collaborate closely with doctors for case planning, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and build a skilled team to support the lab's growth.
• Work alongside business development staff to ensure smooth operations and scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in dental lab management, with expertise in scaling or start-up lab environments.
• Extensive knowledge of dental lab production processes for both fixed and removable prosthetics.
• Proficiency with 3Shape, Exocad, digital design workflows, and analog techniques.
• Strong technical skills in printing, milling, and All-on-X case design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with doctors for case planning.
• Proven leadership abilities to manage operations and grow a high-performing team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000+
• Bonus Program: Opportunity to earn an additional 20% of base salary.
