Modern Dental Laboratory USA in Newark, DE is seeking a part-time Dental Lab Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. The role supports tracking, packaging, labeling, and handling incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and provide excellent service via phone, email, and in-person interactions. A high school diploma is required and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Part-time role with defined schedule (Mon–Fri, approx 9:00am–3/3:30pm).
• Experience with shipping processes, labeling, and invoicing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Track, enter, and research information in current systems.
• Prepare materials for shipping, weigh, package, stamp, and create shipping forms.
• Disinfect incoming cases following safety processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and blog.
• Assemble and fill boxes for shipment.
• Unload, sort, and prioritize incoming packages.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
• Coordinate routing for internal drivers and occasional local deliveries.
• Support other shipping-related activities and duties as assigned.

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized part-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Modern Dental Center in Newark, DE.

The preferred schedule for this part-time role is Monday thru Friday, from approximately 9:00am - 3 or 3:30pm

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

Responsible for tracking, entering, and researching information in current systems

Prepare material for shipping by weighing, packaging, stamping, and preparing necessary shipping forms such as invoices and shipping labels

Disinfect all incoming cases following laboratory safety processes

Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and blog

Assemble and fill boxes with items that need to be shipped

Unload, sort, and prioritize incoming packages for case entry

Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Provide support to employees and managers in the handling of all shipping related activities, including routing internal drivers for package pickup and delivery

Occasional driving responsibilities, including making deliveries to local offices

All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred

Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication

High attention to detail with the upmost accuracy is required

Understanding of general administrative policies and procedures

Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Team Player a MUST

High school diploma or equivalent required
