Description of Work
This is a temporary position located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County. It is part-time with no leave or retirement benefits. Temporary employees working an average of 30+ hours per week may be eligible for health insurance under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). For details, visit www.shpnc.org.
Telework Availability: The NC Department of Health and Human Services offers work-from-home options and flexible schedules. Employees with an approved hybrid schedule must work onsite at least 4 days per month.
Hourly Rate: $28.00 to $32.00, based on education, experience, and budget.
Position Overview: The role involves monitoring dental provider compliance, conducting investigations into dental fraud, waste, and abuse, and ensuring contract compliance through reviews and reporting. Responsibilities include analyzing documents, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports.
Qualifications: Must be a licensed dental hygienist in North Carolina, with experience interpreting dental regulations, conducting investigations, and excellent communication skills. Preferred experience includes program integrity and working with federally funded healthcare programs.
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
