About Us: Virginia Family Dentistry has been providing quality dental care in the greater Richmond area for 50 years, with 16 unique locations. We are seeking team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) and recent hygiene school graduates awaiting licensure to join us as Temporary Hygienists.

Job Details:

  • Work Hours: 8am-5pm
  • Positions: Full-time, Part-time, and Temporary available
  • Compensation: $50.00 – $52.00 per hour, based on experience

Clinical Requirements:

  • CPR certified
  • Skilled in hand instrumentation and ultrasonic inserts
  • Experience with digital radiographs and Dentrix Enterprise preferred
  • Certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning teeth and examining oral health
  • Applying sealants and fluorides
  • Taking and developing x-rays
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene
  • Documenting care and screening patients
