Job summary

Generations Family Health Center in Willimantic, CT is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a part-time role (1-3 days per week) delivering preventive oral health services and patient education alongside dentists and the dental care team.

The position offers 8-24 hours per week with a competitive pay rate of $42.00-$45.00 per hour, prorated PTO, longevity bonus, malpractice coverage, and a predictable weekly schedule. Qualifications include CDT/Hygiene license and CPR.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current Connecticut Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of patient screening, charting, medical history procedures, and documentation.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, abbreviations, and techniques.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients' overall oral health
• Performing dental hygiene examinations, cleanings, and polishing teeth
• Applying fluoride treatments and dental sealants
• Taking diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Polishing restorations
• Providing oral hygiene education and preventive care guidance
• Setting up and preparing dental equipment and instrumentation
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation and records
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Job Summary
