Job summary

Generations Family Health Center is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a part-time role in Willimantic, CT. The RDH will provide preventive dental care and patient education in collaboration with dentists and the team.

The position offers 8-24 hours per week across 1–3 days, with a competitive hourly rate and prorated PTO. Applicants must hold a CT RDH license and CPR certification, with a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current Connecticut Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of patient screening, charting, medical history procedures, and documentation.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, abbreviations, and techniques.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive oral health services and education to children and adults.
• Perform dental hygiene examinations, cleanings, and polishing.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs (x‑rays).
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
