Job summary

Strong communication helps patients understand care and post-visit home instructions. Minimum Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License required; 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license is required.
• CPR certification (AHA) is required.
• Background clearances (Act 34, Act 33, Act 73, FBI) are required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Call patients to confirm appointments and manage scheduling.
• Perform prophylaxis treatments, scaling, root planing, and periodontal probing.
• Document oral hygiene status and assist with billing procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide home-care instructions.
