Qualifications

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting.
Open Dental software experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
Proficiency in assessing patient needs and delivering quality care.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation review is beneficial.
Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Utilize imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions.
Perform vital sign checks and document medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and regular dental visits.
Assist in chairside procedures and maintain smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with the dental team for comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.

Pay

$37 - $42 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Friday
Day shift

Work Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30 AM -5 PM

Breaks: 30-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).

Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.

Requirements

License & Certification: Infection Control License
