Job summary

Pediatric Dentistry of Avenue U in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our kid-friendly team. The role features two days per week (Wednesdays and Fridays), 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with some flexibility, and an hourly pay range of $58–$62 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene (Required)
• Valid NYS Dental Hygienist License (Required)
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
• Team-oriented with a cheerful, professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, and apply sealants
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories
• Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly clinical environment
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff
• Provide occasional front desk support as needed

Work Schedule
