Pediatric Dentistry of Bronx in Bronx, NY is seeking a temporary Dental Hygienist for Mondays–Thursdays (approximately 3 months), 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The role involves routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and patient education in a kid‑friendly setting. Requires Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and valid NYS license; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene is required.
• Valid NYS Dental Hygienist License is required.
• Pediatric dental experience preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills.
• Team-oriented with a cheerful, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, and apply sealants.
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.
• Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly clinical environment.
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff.
• Provide occasional front desk support as needed.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time (4 days/week) or
• 4 days/ week Mondays-Thursdays
• Hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility available)
• Occasional travel to our other offices (within a reasonable distance) may be requested
